Biological farm, since 2007, includes 8 hectares of land, 6 of which are used for olive groves and the remaining part is divided into arable land, vegetables and fruit trees.
Our main production is, at the moment, olive oil, even though tragic events about plants dessiccation in salento in the last few years , known to all of you.
The olives, cold pressed, provide an higher quality of extra virgin oil. It’s a classic flavour, unflavoured, with a slightly bitter and spicy taste, typical salentine.
Other fresh products, processed, provide excellent jams, sweet liqueur, different kinds of sauces and various sweet and sour vegetables, made according to our recipes. Excellent our tomato sauce, cooked in our restaurant.
Furthermore you can find other local products like honey, very fine salentine wines and regional ones (negramaro, salice primitivo of manduria).
Serine farm pays meticulous attention to the care and respect for the environment: no to chemicals, but only fertilisers of organic nature. Grass is cut without herbicides.
